Transponder Key Technology

Transponder Keys and Chips have commonly been used in automotive applications.  These keys were developed for automotive applications starting in 1995.

A Transponder Key is a radio transmitter receiver designed as an anti theft device for automobiles. The transponder key is programmed into your cars computer at the factory.  If the vehicle's computer does not receive the correct  key identification response when the key is turned to the on position, the car will not start. If a key is lost for this type of vehicle, we can replace it and get you back on the road, quickly and efficiently. We have all the up to the minute equipment our industry offers to professionally replace a lost key for later model vehicles, including those which do not even have keys!

Transponder Keys and Chips are typically in newer cars and trucks.
